Lead us to critical self-examination, Lord of the eternal feast, so that we appreciate our invitation to Your forgiveness and eternity, and are better able to help our fellow sinners understand its implications when the invitation comes to them; who with the Father and the Holy Spirit are one God with dominion over us forever. Amen.

  • Goodbye Food Pantry, Hello Collection Closet

Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, the Giver and Perfecter of our faith, we thank and praise You for continuing among us at Christ the King in the preaching of Your Gospel and the teaching of Your Word for our instruction and edification. Send Your blessing upon Your Word, which is spoken to us by Your Holy Spirit, increase our saving knowledge of You, so that day by day we and our children might be strengthened in divine truth and remain steadfast in Your grace. Give us strength to fight the good fight and by faith to overcome all the temptations of Satan, the flesh and the world so that we might finally receive the salvation of our souls; for You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen.
