  • Einstein and Graham: Going Somewhere!

In January 2000, civic leaders in Charlotte, North Carolina, invited their favorite son, Billy Graham, to a luncheon in his honor. Billy initially hesitated to accept the invitation because he struggles with Parkinson's disease.  But the Charlotte leaders insisted, 'We don't expect a major address. Just come and let us honor you.'  So the evangelist agreed.

  • Poinsettia Orders

  • Cold Weather Clothing Donations

As the winter season is approaching and you start to pull out the cold weather gear, would you please consider donating any unused jackets, coats, hats and gloves to a few local non-profits in the area? Near the stairwell in the middle of the church, there are several boxes to leave the items. We plan on dropping items off as the boxes fill. Any questions, please reach out to Doug Bohannon. Thank you!

Amen.

Amen.

  • Youth Thanksgiving Service Project

The Inner City Youth Group headed by Kinda Makini reached out to us once again asking if we might be able to help them this Thanksgiving.  Would we, at Christ the King, like to help some of our Detroit neighbor’s by providing 10 Thanksgiving baskets for families in need?

  • Goodbye Food Pantry, Hello Collection Closet

In the heart of our church, nestled within a quaint corner of the office, lies a magical place known as the Collection Closet. It's a space that embodies the spirit of recycling, reusing, and giving back to those in need. The Collection Closet aims to become a symbol of our church's commitment to sustainability and community support, all wrapped up in a small, unassuming room.
