Good morning and welcome to worship as we gather in the Lord’s house during this Lenten Season. Today we begin a Lenten Sunday Series of meditations based on the words of Christ from the Cross. Today we ponder “Father, forgive them…” The grace that has been lavished upon us by Christ the Crucified gives us the spiritual strength we need to maintain a gracious and forgiven heart, just like Jesus. God the Holy Spirit works that heart within us today by Word and Sacrament, so that others can also see His grace living in us, repent of their sin and believe that Jesus’ forgiveness was also won for them. Come and worship with us again soon.
