Almighty God in His mercy has given His Son to die for you and for His sake forgives you all your sins. As a called and ordained servant of the Word I therefore forgive you all your sins in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
O almighty God, merciful Father, I, a poor, miserable sinner, confess unto Thee all my sins and iniquities with which I have ever offended Thee and justly deserved Thy temporal and eternal punishment. But I am heartily sorry for them and sincerely repent of them, and I pray Thee of Thy boundless mercy and for the sake of the holy, innocent, bitter sufferings and death of Thy beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to be gracious and merciful to me, a poor, sinful being.
O God of mercy, God of might, In love and pity infinite, Teach us, as ever in Thy sight, To live our life to Thee.

Dear Lord Jesus, You took Your disciples away to quiet places for refreshment and rest: We thank You for these times of refreshment and rest which come amid the work and cares of our lives and employment. We pray You that refreshing us this Labor Day in spirit and in body, we may use this observance to our profit and to the renewal of strength and will for the faithful accomplishment of our appointed tasks; who with You, the Father and the Holy Spirit are one God, now and forever. Amen.
Benevolent Father, gracious God, Host at the end-time banquet for all who are in Christ, keep us from false pride in our faith and life, and give us enough insight into Christ to follow His example of servanthood to all; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, who with You and the Holy Spirit are one God with dominion over us forever.
