God, Father of the human family, whose love for us all is so forcibly visible on Calvary, strengthen us in our redemption through Christ that we witness the news to the many within the human family who still call Adam father and stand in danger of the Judgment; through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who with You and the Holy Spirit are one God with dominion over us forever. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, as You came in love to love us always, grant us, being so loved, to love you and each other in response, that the mark of God's community be upon us who call ourselves a Christian congregation; who with the Father and the Holy Spirit are one God with dominion over us forever. Amen.

On this glorious Resurrection Morn, our Festival service begins with the glad shout of the Easter Antiphon. The Pastor motions the congregation to rise and says, “Christ is Risen! Hallelujah!” The congregation responds in one mighty shout, “He is Risen, Indeed! Hallelujah!” Don’t whisper it, SHOUT IT OUT! Please remain standing for the versicles and Processional Hymn.

Blessed Jesus, Who for our sins suffered the terror of the Father's wrath and for our salvation endured the desolation of the Father's judgment, accept our gratitude and praise: Hosanna! Good morning and welcome to worship as we gather in the Lord’s house during this Lenten Season. Today we begin a Lenten Sunday Series of meditations based on the words of Christ from the Cross. Today we ponder “Father, forgive them…” The grace that has been lavished upon us by Christ the Crucified gives us the spiritual strength we need to maintain a gracious and forgiven heart, just like Jesus. God the Holy Spirit works that heart within us today by Word and Sacrament, so that others can also see His grace living in us, repent of their sin and believe that Jesus’ forgiveness was also won for them. Come and worship with us again soon.
